GORDON KORMAN

Gordon Korman was born on the 23rd of October, 1963 in Montreal, Canada and a graduate of New York University's School of Dramatic Writing.  He wrote his first book, This Can't Be Happening To Macdonald  Hall, as a seventh-grade English project. By the time Korman had graduated from high school, he had written and published five other books including Go Jump In The Pool!, Beware The Fish!, I Want To Go Home!, and  The War With Mr. Wizzle all available in Apple Paperback editions from Scholastic, Inc.
He moved to Toronto with his family in 1971.
Gordon divides his time between Pompano Beach, Florida, Toronto, and New York City, and writes full-time.
He married Michelle Iserson in June 1996.
 
 

Did You Know?
Gordon (or if you like his nickname, G-Man) was
supposedly named after hockey player,
Gordie Howe.
